on cupcake moon began in 1993 as "deb
cards" when i decided it was time to send out
my own holiday cards to relatives.
the first few cards were caricatures of me and my struggle to
find the perfect holiday outfit. from there i moved to holiday
characters, and gradually my favorite subject became my pets.
every year people look forward to receiving my holiday card, and many have kept each one
that they have received. over
the years, i branched out designing many custom invitations and other
coordinating items for both family
members and friends. the incredible feedback from the "lil pumpkin"
baby shower invitation design from 2006 was the catalyst to finally
make my items available for purchase.
to create each design, i hand draw it
first in pencil, then go back in with pen and ink. the final black and
white drawing is digitized for printing. color is then added and
the finished design is catalogued. the designs you see on this
website are the best of the best of my work. if i don't have
exactly what you may be looking for listed, i will gladly work with
you to customize what is already available, or cheerfully attempt
something new.
